Can I bring my dog?
Well controlled dogs are very welcome at the country fair – hopefully you’ll want to show your pride and joy off and enter our fun dog show!
How accessible is the fair?
- We have parking for blue badge holders adjacent to the main field (50m or so).
- The field itself is quite level (but it’s not a bowling green), with a slight incline towards the top – pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters are usable, with care. It could be quite challenging to get around the site in very wet conditions.
- There is an all ability toilet available on site.
- There is a wide range of activity at the fair every year – we try to make sure there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Where is the fair held?
If you head for Hockwold, we put up directional signs on all major routes. As you get closer to the field you will be directed to the car park. The address is Mill Drift, Hockwold cum Wilton, Thetford IP26 4NG
What happens with the money that is raised through the fair?
The money that remains after all the costs are deducted is split between village organisations and charities. The Country Fair Committee undertake their work entirely voluntarily for the benefit of the village.
