Welcome to the Hockwold Country Fair website!

On behalf of the committee, I would like to send a big ‘Thank you’ to all the volunteers who helped make this year’s event such a success. It was our most successful ever and we hope all of you who attended had a wonderful day.

Unfortunately, I also need to inform you that this will be the last Country Fair, unless a new organising committee can be formed.  The current committee has been organising the event for the last 7 years and some members, myself included, have been involved for over 14 years. We are all stepping down but will provide a handover to any new committee that decides to take the event forward.

Any new committee would need to be formed by the end of September at the latest, in order to have enough time to plan and book suppliers for the following year and will also need to find a storage area for the fair’s assets, equivalent to a 6 x 8 shed.

There are 8 committee roles that need to be filled plus a load of volunteers who help set up before and on the day. The current committee roles are: Chair and Event Manager, Treasurer, Stall Co-ordinator, Vintage Vehicle Co-ordinator x 2, Competitions, Dog Show and Children’s Area.
